EXPOSED LIGHT is a collection of photographs taken by Nick MacDonald.  Born and raised in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Nick enjoys capturing many of the vast beauties that can be found on our Island.

Prince Edward Island is Canada’s smallest and greenest province. Cradled on the waves of the Gulf of St. Lawrence, PEI is known for the vivid colours of its gently rolling landscape, surrounded by miles of sandy beaches and red sandstone cliffs.

Having no formal training in photography, Nick enjoys learning with the camera in hand by personal experience.  Anyone can take a great photo but it is realizing how you took that photo and being able to duplicate your success in capturing the image that will make you a great photographer.  Another way Nick learns new techniques is by reading about photography both in print and online.
